The Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Buffalo Bills game was postponed until Monday because of “hazardous weather.”
With one to three feet of snow predicted, the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers will kick off at 9:30 p.m. on Monday following the postponement of their Wild Card game due to a winter storm. Watch the build-up live on Monday night at 9 p.m. on Sky Sports NFL.
Due to the severe winter weather, Sunday’s NFL Wild Card playoff game between the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers has been moved to Monday night, according to a statement made by New York Governor Kathy Hochul on Saturday.
“I’ve been in conversation with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell regarding the unsafe situation in Buffalo this weekend,” said Hochul on Twitter/X.
“After consulting with the NFL, Buffalo Bills management, and our emergency response teams, the game is scheduled to take place on Monday at 4:30 p.m.”
The Bills asked supporters to help shovel snow at Highmark Stadium in an article posted on their team website on Friday. They offered $20 per hour in exchange for free meals and breaks throughout the work shift.
The game, which was initially slated to begin at 6 p.m. (UK) on Sunday, will now begin at 9.30 p.m. on Monday. Sky Sports NFL will provide live coverage of the build-up starting at 9 p.m.
