Candidates with the best probability of landing a position are general manager and head coach
As we approach the end of the first week, the Las Vegas Raiders may now officially begin their offseason. The Raiders have been in the headlines a lot lately because Mark Davis has been interviewing candidates for the general manager position and because there are a lot of unfounded speculations around the team’s potential future head coach.
So, that will be the primary subject for this week’s mailbag.
Do the Raiders make the right decision by selecting a general manager first? Or does Mark Davis even care about that?
It appears that Davis will appoint the general manager initially. Numerous stories have surfaced regarding the Raiders’ interviews with potential general managers, including Adam Peters, Ed Dodds, and interim manager Champ Kelly. But there is no information about head coaches doing interviews; all that is known about the head coach search is that Jim Harbaugh and Antonio Pierce are involved and that there is mutual interest between them.
