Former Detroit Lions player arrested in Oregon
A former player of the Detroit Lions attempted to break into a house in Oregon, according to police, and after that, he removed his clothes.
On Saturday, police responded to a report that someone was making concerning remarks at the Woodburn residence.
Authorities were notified by the homeowner that former Detroit Lions cornerback Stanley Wilson II was acting strangely and making attempts to enter the residence.
Wilson allegedly came out of a garden shed naked when responding officers arrived. Marion County Jail received him.
Police spokesperson Jason Horton claims he was unaware of Wilson’s legal representation. His jail listing did not include a counsel, and the prosecutor’s office was closed on Sunday.
Wilson was taken into custody in January after being discovered unclothed outside a Portland home, according to police. Wilson had been shot by a homeowner in June in a case identical to this one.
