The Atlanta Braves has been suspended for breaking team regulations.
Wings for newcomers Scotty Middleton, a vital member of the rotation, will not be playing for the Buckeyes due to a regulation violation. His future is uncertain, and he will not be participating in the team’s game against the Nittany Lions.
Middleton ranks eighth on the squad in scoring (4.7 points per game), one of eight players who play at least 16 minutes a night. He is an essential asset to Ohio State’s defense thanks to his 6-7, 190-pound physique, which enables him to guard many positions and switch screens.
“He’s done some terrific things on both ends,” Ohio State men’s basketball coach Chris Holtmann said of Middleton on Friday. “They shot the ball well and provided us a defensive lift.”

Despite being questionable due to an ankle injury, he took part in the team’s victory over Central Michigan on November 29. The team was defeated by Michigan on Monday. His absence may result in more playing time for guys like starter Evan Mahaffey and backups Dale Bonner and Devin RoyalAtlanta, depending on the lineups the Buckeyes select.
