NY Jets CEO Woody Johnson sold out the NY Jet team to Sheila Ford Hamp, owner of Detriot Lions
More anticipation than at any other time in recent franchise history surrounds the New York Jets as they prepare for the 2023 campaign. The Jets are the topic of the NFL after acquiring Aaron Rodgers, and supporters are ecstatic to watch their beloved team play this season.
Many don’t even want to wait for the preseason or regular season to begin. Tickets for the Jets training camp officially went on sale on Monday, and they sold out in three minutes. Yes, really.
The Jets website almost had a crash due to the large number of fans lining up for a limited amount of tickets, which were eventually sold out in less than five minutes. I’m not sure what else would indicate how hyped up this team is if that doesn’t.
There will be additional tickets available in the future for supporters who might not have been able to attend the first four public training camp practices. The Jets have announced that additional tickets will go on sale on July 31.
For the first time in almost ten years, the Jets head into the 2023 season with real Super Bowl hopes. Many think the Jets could be significant contenders, even in a packed AFC, with Rodgers at the helm.
Alongside youthful offensive key players like Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, and Alijah Vera-Tucker, Rodgers joins 2022 All-Pros like Sauce Gardner, Quinnen Williams, and C.J. Mosley. As a result, the Jets have the most talented roster they have had since they were in the AFC Championship Game more than ten years ago.
For better or worse, no NFL team has gotten as much media attention as the Jets have this summer. Their impending “Hard Knocks” appearance will only help them become more well-known in the media.
