Injury Report for Super Bowl LVIII: Bengals vs. Chiefs
Joe Burrow was less optimistic about the Bengals’ chances of making the playoffs than his best player, wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. The franchise player for Cincinnati talked about how it’s simpler to talk about than to win the AFC and make it to the Super Bowl.
“You do realize that it’s easier said than done?” stated Burrow. “We’ve been in that situation and done that, but who knows how things might have turned out? You know, I felt really secure about the direction we were going to go this season. Every week, we were improving. It therefore happened at a difficult time, but it has allowed me to bounce back, refocus on my training, and get every part of my body in the proper position. My body will therefore be in perfect condition when the wrist is adjusted. That’s why I can’t wait to run this race again next year.”
Cincinnati is about to start Burrow’s final season before his NFL-record contract extension kicks in. Burrow is recognized for working hard both on and off the field.
As they attempt to assemble the greatest team around a world-class quarterback, the Bengals will be among the heavy favorites to win the Super Bowl when the season begins.
