Ja’Marr Chase made his exit known.
Wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals just announced his exit.
Wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals took a jab at the Kansas City Chiefs in the beginning of January when he responded with the hilarious comment, “Anybody but the Chiefs,” when asked who he thought should win the Super Bowl.
Sadly for Chase, the Chiefs prevailed in the end, and in the aftermath, at least one of his direct opponents on the field made sure to bring him up.
When L’Jarius Sneed appeared on the “Up and Adams Show” with Kay Adams, he named Chase as the wideout he despises the most.
“Ja’Marr Chase, I believe,” Sneed remarked. “He simply doesn’t like the Chiefs.” He gets quite chirpy with me. He was being mouthed off.
It’s not surprising that Chase has come up in conversations like this, especially in relation to one of the best new rivalries in the NFL, as he hasn’t been shy about making jokes about himself to the media, fans, and opponents when there’s a microphone around.
We’ll see if Chase plays against Sneed again in this rivalry next year—possibly in the NFL season opener—as he is set to be a free agent.
