The Chiefs’ exciting 25-22 overtime triumph in Las Vegas on February 11 was marred by a 15-yard penalty following the incident that happened in the second quarter.
As of Monday, Bolton’s fine was the only sanction imposed for an offense he did during the championship game.L’Jarius Sneed, the cornerback for the Chiefs, was given a personal foul for needless roughness during the game, but he was not fined.
Bolton, 23, had an outstanding Super Bowl effort, tying San Francisco’s Fred Warner for the game-high with 13 tackles. Bolton also scored two quarterback hits against the 49ers and had one tackle for loss.
