Trubisky has reportedly agreed to a contract with the Buffalo Bills, according to a number of media outlets.
In Buffalo in 2021, Trubisky completed the season as Josh Allen’s backup quarterback, tossing 43 yards in six games.
After that, he signed a two-year, $14.25 million contract with the Steelers ahead of the 2022 campaign, which sent him to Pittsburgh.
Trubisky would have a difficult season in 2022, finishing as a starter with a 2-5 record and eight touchdowns against ten interceptions. He was replaced by rookie Kenny Pickett after Week 5.
After Pickett hurt his ankle against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 13, Trubisky would return to the field in 2023, but his return would not last long. He threw for 359 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in two starts, going 0-2 overall. Mason Rudolph took Trubisky’s position and guided the Steelers to a 3-0 record and a postseason berth.
The Chicago Bears selected Trubisky with the second overall choice in 2017; he finished with a 29–21 record before the Bears granted him free agency.
