The illness has forced Holger Rune, The Viking, and Dominic “Thieminho” Thiem to withdraw from the current UTS Oslo event.
The 17-year-old Nicolai Budkov Kjaer, often known as “The Junior,” will take Thiem’s position and go up against Casper “The Ice Man” Ruud later on Saturday.
Thiem remarked, “Unfortunately, I have food poisoning today, and, despite my best efforts, I just cannot step on court.” “I cherished the vibe in Oslo and the energy at UTS. I sincerely apologize to the fans and hope to see you on the UTS tour shortly.
Alexander Bublik and Rune’s final match has been canceled, and The Bublik Enemy has won 3-0 by walkover.
Rune posted the following on social media: “Hey everybody. I sincerely apologize for being unable to continue playing in Oslo. I haven’t been feeling well these past several days, so I won’t be able to provide an excellent performance tonight.
“Yesterday, I gave it my all, and I truly loved being here.” To perform for the Nordic people is something unique. I adore the vitality you impart.
