TOP NOTCH PERFORMANCE…
Felix Auger-Aliassime was beaten by Carlos Alcaraz in Indian Wells last year, and he repeated the feat this year in two sets.
The Spaniard defeated the player in two sets, 6-4, 6-4, during their quarterfinal match in the inaugural ATP Masters 1000 competition of the year. Alcaraz was even more brilliant this time around, winning the first set 6-2.
Auger-Aliassime managed to hang on for a while during the first few close games, but the Spaniard was playing a really good tennis and soon overpowered him.
The 20-year-old clearly enjoys playing in Indian Wells since he performs admirably almost every time. He made it all the way last year, and so far this year, he appears to be just as outstanding.
