Holger Rune has given up for.

The New York Giants have accepted Drew Lock’s offer to play. The larger consequence of this transfer still affects the Seattle Seahawks, even though it’s noteworthy since it appears to settle the Giants backup quarterback job and means Lock will need to hire movers to relocate his belongings across the nation.

The Seahawks are now one of the NFL clubs that desperately needs a quarterback. And even though they have Geno Smith, they don’t really need a starter who can come in and save the club, but they do have an issue that needs to be resolved right away.

Additionally, the majority of teams require four quarterbacks for training camp and a minimum of two for the entire season. There are teams that field three players all season.

or locate one at a no-cost agency. or exchange for one. Alternatively, choose a mix of many choices. On February 1, 2024, in Renton, Washington, at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center, John Schneider, general manager of the Seattle Seahawks, reacts as he announces Mike Macdonald (not visible) as the team’s new head coach.

For a comparatively meager one-year contract of a guaranteed $5 million, he let Lock depart. The Seahawks have enough salary cap room, so if they had truly wanted to keep Lock, they could have easily matched that amount. However, no.

Schneider clearly wants to include more men. distinct men. And the fact that he began his career with the Green Bay Packers under general manager Ron Wolf is the reason we know he would rather do that work in the draft.

At the NFL scouting combine, Schneider stated, “I’ve told you guys in the past, and having come up in the Packer organization [under] Ron Wolf, 14 drafts and only choosing two quarterbacks is not something that we’re necessarily proud of.” “That’s just how it happened. Getting a quarterback is a goal every year, regardless of the method—draft, free agency, etc.

“Yeah, the draft class of this year is a great group. There are numerous variations on that.

In the NFL draft held next month, the Seahawks were selected with the 16th overall pick. They might then be in a great position to add Michael Penix Jr., a local player who played at the University of Washington. Additionally, it puts the Seahawks in a position to choose players like Bo Nix.
