QB Kenny Pickett of the Philadelphia Eagles receives suspension letter from NFL manager.
After saying a blatant farewell to the Pittsburgh Steelers fan base, quarterback Kenny Pickett, who recently joined the Philadelphia Eagles, is receiving negative feedback on social media. After being duped by Pittsburgh about their plans to sign Russell Wilson as their starting quarterback, Pickett has been visibly irate about his circumstances there.
Pickett thought the Steelers would let him challenge Wilson for the starting position. Nonetheless, Pickett Wilson will receive first-team reps this spring, according to head coach Mike Tomlin. When Pickett requested a trade, the Steelers gave the Eagles their former first-round pick.
Pickett bid farewell to Pittsburgh on Instagram. He reminisced on his time in the city with both the Pittsburgh Panthers and the Steelers, without even mentioning the Steelers by name. As stated
Pittsburgh, thank you! My life completely changed seven years ago when I moved to this city. I’m thankful for everyone who helped me along the journey and for the incredible people I had the good fortune to meet.
I formed interactions and lifelong friendships that I will always treasure. I’m honored to be able to play for the team that first inspired my childhood love of the game, and I’m looking forward to this new chapter in my career.
