BREAKING NEWS: Stefanos Tsitsipas announced his resignation because of…
The breakup between Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas was revealed via her Instagram stories. Following a year of social media transparency over their relationship, the fashionable tennis couple made the decision to separate.
Just prior to the commencement of the Roland Garros competition in May 2023, Badosa and Tsitsipas formally started dating. Despite having to withdraw from the competition owing to a back ailment, Badosa chose to stay in Paris and cheer for Tsitsipas from the stands, a decision that solidified their relationship.
“Stefanos and I have chosen to split ways amicably after careful contemplation and many cherished moments together,” Babasa posted on Instagram.
“After a voyage full of love and wisdom, we have decided to go on on our separate paths as friends with the utmost respect for one another.”
Before the Mutua Madrid Open, a joint event where both arrived as singles, the partnership terminated.
Badosa is keen to make up lost ground after dropping to 126th in the WTA rankings. She has gotten back in touch with David Antona, her personal trainer, as part of her recovery efforts.
Tsitsipas has also encountered difficulties; in February, he failed to make the top 10 for the first time in five years.
