Nick Chubb, the unheralded Dark Knight of the Cleveland Browns, looks to be close to returning to action despite his lack of exercise this offseason.
Chubb shared a picture of himself on social media with his favorite superhero, Batman. In the image, Batman is depicted being knocked down before getting back up and getting ready to fight. Chubb’s declaration makes it clear that he’s committed to getting well from the terrible knee injury he suffered during the previous campaign.
Maybe in response to a recent statement made by his general manager, Andrew Berry, who provided an update on Chubb during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.
To begin with, does anyone appear interested in placing a bet against Batman? We refer to him as Batman here. On May 2, Berry said that Nick is a special athlete and a special guy. He is making good progress on his road to recovery. He still has a long way to go. Given that the knee damage was obviously quite serious,. But this past month, he really started running on land.
Chubb has two procedures to repair his ACL and MCL, the most recent one being in November. Chubb recently included “load running” in his recovery regimen. However, a specific return date is still unknown.
