Olivia Culpo, who married Christian McCaffrey, wasn’t afraid to turn down a few last-minute requests.
Aurora Culpo, her sister, has suggested that she bring her new partner along as a guest. The former Miss Universe and her elder sister talked about their pre-wedding trip and how the 49ers player from San Francisco fit into the celebration before she and the player tied the knot in Rhode Island on June 29.
In response to Aurora, 35, asking a question about her new boyfriend, Olivia stated, He’s not invited to the wedding on the July 3 episode of Aurora’s Barely Filtered podcast, if that’s what you’re going to say.
Though Aurora referred to the comment as “rude, Olivia shot back, saying, No, it’s rude to invite somebody I’ve never met.
It should be noted that Aurora asked, Can my friend come? Yes, well, flavour of the month, Olivia said. Uninterested.
Sorry, it’s not a reflection of you; it’s a reflection of my sister, the 32-year-old continued, addressing Aurora’s new boyfriend directly.
In contrast, Aurora clarified that her boyfriend—whose name she would not reveal—would be spending time with the entire family the day before the rehearsal dinner, dispelling any suspicions that tension was building between the Culpo sisters.
While Aurora, who is keeping her new relationship under wraps and shares children Remi, 5, and Solei, 3, with her ex Mikey Bortone, her younger sister has been sure to include fans in her and Christian’s journey to marriage.
It all boils down to being the person who supports others.
You need to support one another, Olivia stated earlier this year to E! News. “You also need to have a constructive way to let out your frustrations.”
“Even when things are exciting, everything’s better with another person that you can share experiences with,” she stated. It truly does make things simpler when we can assist one another, which is such a blessing. And when you approach things with that mindset, there’s really no worst-case situation because you have each other at least.
