With the majority of top-level free agents off the market, only a handful valuable players remain to sign new contracts this offseason. According to NHL analyst Steve Silverman, the Florida Panthers can improve their squad by signing Mark Giordano, who previously played for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Although Giordano will be 41 years old in October, he became a free agent on July 1 and intends to continue playing hockey for at least another year.
