Impressive: Majeski wins Clean Harbours 250, and Denny Hamlin claims pole for Cook Out 400.
NASCAR driver Ty Majeski has won the Clean Harbors 250, held at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The race saw Majeski lead for much of the day, withstanding several attacks from the competition to claim his first victory in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

The win marks a significant moment in Majeski’s career, who has struggled to find consistent success in NASCAR’s lower leagues. Speaking after the race, Majeski said “I’ve had a lot of ups and downs in my career, but this is definitely a high point. It’s been a long road to get to this point, and I’m just grateful for the opportunity to be out here racing.”
Meanwhile, in the Cup Series, Denny Hamlin claimed pole position for the upcoming Cook Out 400 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. The veteran driver set a blistering pace during qualifying, driving his Toyota Camry to a time of 28.332 seconds on the 1.5-mile track.
This marks Hamlin’s first pole position of the season, and his fifth career pole at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. He will be joined on the front row by Kyle Larson, who set a time of 28.365 seconds during qualifying.
Hamlin will be looking to build on his record of success this season, having already recorded two wins and 10 top-five finishes in the Cup Series. The Cook Out 400 is set to take place on Sunday, and is sure to be a thrilling event for NASCAR fans.
