JUST IN: Michigan’s interim coach Sherrone Moore addresses the team following the program’s historic 1,000th victory, amidst Jim Harbaugh’s suspension.
The Michigan Wolverines beat Maryland for the school’s 1,000th win in football, but suspended head coach Jim Harbaugh wasn’t there to celebrate.
Because Harbaugh was suspended pending an investigation into violations of in-person scouting rules, he was unable to attend the game and had to watch it from home.
In lieu of Harbaugh for the last two games, offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore stated he would like to ensure the coach is included, but he also had an unusual suggestion.
‘We need to edit coach in there,’ Moore said. ‘There is enough technology in the world today to get that done.’
Mike Sainristil, the defensive back, stated, “There is no doubt in my mind that when we head back to this airport, he is going to be there waiting for us.” That is a different proposition. We’ll probably take another 10 to 15 minutes to take another picture.’
