In Sunday’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Hunter Long, the team’s backup quarterback, sustained a season-ending knee injury.
Tyler Higbee is still rehabilitating from a neck injury. At tight end, the Rams still have Davis Allen and Bryant Hopkins, but on Wednesday, they added some competition.
Miller Forristall has been added to the practice squad, the team said. The 25-year-old tight end Forristall entered the NFL in 2021 as an undrafted free agent. In the previous three seasons, he has played for the Titans, Browns, and Saints. From 2021 to 2022, he made six total appearances, all with the Browns.
Just 27 of his 88 career plays have been on offence; the majority of his playing time has been on special teams. Alabama was his college football team.
