An analyst gives the Browns’ victory over the Bears credit.
Joe Flacco gives them a veteran who has been there and done that and won’t be phased by any big event, as he has already demonstrated since returning to the NFL this season, even though their quarterback situation hasn’t been great this year.
More importantly, the defence has been outstanding this season and is largely responsible for this team’s success thus far. They consistently turn the ball over and put the offence in a strong position.
In light of this, Browns analyst Tony Rizzo recently credited the defence for the team’s ability to overcome a significant deficit and defeat the Chicago Bears, adding that each time the Bears appeared to be gaining momentum, the defence forced them to punt the ball out of the field with a three-and-out (via ESPN Cleveland).
Additionally, Rizzo gave LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah a tip of the hat and said that he ought to receive the game ball.
Interestingly, Owusu-Koramoah, who has an excellent eye for the ball and has established himself as one of the top linebackers in the game, has almost immediately won over the fans.
This squad has achieved nine victories and is still very much in the running for a postseason run thanks to Jim Schwartz’s defensive strategy, which has been the best in the game by a wide margin.
