According to Sam Howell, the coaching changes made by ……

This week, the Washington Commanders made the decision to dismiss two coaches, namely Jack Del Rio and Brent Vieselmeyer. Quarterback Sam Howell expressed his disappointment in the departure of both coaches.

As a result of the Washington Commanders’ loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day, defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio and defensive backs coach Brent Vieselmeyer were removed of their responsibilities. This week has been a week of change for the Washington Commanders.

In the last five games, head coach Ron Rivera will take over the play-calling duties on defense. This will surely be a challenging adjustment to get acclimated to, but it is something that will be necessary.

Seeing Del Rio and Vieselmeyer lose their jobs was a difficult experience for quarterback Sam Howell, who has demonstrated improvement in his play throughout the course of this season.

The statement that Howell made was, “I mean, it’s definitely disappointing to see.” The coach, Del Rio, and the coach, Brent Vieselmeyer Vies, both have a great deal of respect for me. It seemed to me that they performed an excellent job. To put it simply, the way the season has ended is a little bit regrettable. As a result, it is unquestionably disheartening to witness their departure, as they were two individuals whom I held in high esteem. On the other hand, there is still a significant amount of football to be played, and we have games that we need to win. The fact that whoever is out there playing or whoever is out there coaching does not affect us in any way; our attention is focused on Miami this week. Each and every day, we simply make an effort to go out there and give it our absolute best.

The Commanders have five games left to play, and they need to do everything they can to salvage something from the season.

Whether it be Howell continuing to show development in order to make any concerns about the quarterback situation going forward, the defense tightening up under Rivera and making it difficult to score, or simply new players being given an opportunity and taking advantage of it in order to give optimism for the upcoming season, there are a number of factors that might contribute to this.

Following a pair of consecutive victories at the beginning of the season, the Commanders have only managed to win two games since then.

Washington will always be in the midst of a period of transition, and no one ever claimed that it would be simple or appear to be positive. Nevertheless, it will be a significant stepping stone in the process of changing the organization from a laughingstock into a football squad that takes its game seriously.

Despite the fact that things are difficult at the moment, the Commanders need to find something to hang their hats on in the next five games; otherwise, the entire season will be a disappointment.
