The linebacker was selected in the fifth round and went on to have excellent seasons in 2021 and 2022.

He made 11 starts during his debut campaign in 2021 and finished with 33 tackles, two quarterback hits, a sack, a pass breakup, and a fumble recovery.

He started in the remaining 16 games in 2022, missing only one. In 42 tackles, he recorded two sacks.

A lot was expected of him in 2923, but he was placed on the injured list for the full year after sustaining a foot injury at training camp.

Due to his status as an international player, DE Kenny Oginni did not count toward the 90-man roster, leaving the Falcons with an 89-man roster.

The fans will have to wait a bit longer to find out who will be on the Falcons’ whole training camp roster, but it seems likely that they will go with a like for like replacement in another linebacker.
