Eagles Rumors On Not Firing Brian Johnson + NEW Eagles Injury Updates On Jalen Carter & Jalen Hurts.
Brian Johnson, the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles, may be fired as the organization continues to shuffle its coaching staff.
There are indications that the Eagles could soon be cutting ties with Johnson, according to Derrick Gunn.
According to all signs, Brian Johnson won’t be rejoining the Eagles as the offensive coordinator, tweeted Gunn. “He will land in an offensive capacity somewhere else.”
Separately, on January 10, Adam Schefter of ESPN disclosed that Johnson was “expected” to have an interview for the coaching position with the Carolina Panthers. It seems that the 36-year-old will not be the last candidate in their coaching search, less than two weeks later.
The Eagles coach and his offensive staff should concentrate their game plan on Dallas Goedert and the rest of the tight end group in order to take advantage of the Dallas defense, which is susceptible to tight end play. For Goedert and company to not be securing the targets regularly and ahead of schedule would be reckless on the part of Sirianni and his attacking unit. Dallas is going to score thirty points if the Eagles defense plays as well as it did against Washington. It has to be an Eagles touchdown, and an Eagles touchdown. Having the lead at the half means they are winning. If they win 38–35, then the Eagles. Dallas would win 27–16 if they win. I hope the Eagles are as focused and prepared as possible, because they have to win.
