Another significant assistant hire in Philadelphia: according to reports, the Eagles are appointing Kellen Moore, a former offensive coordinator for the Chargers and Cowboys, to be their offensive coordinator.
Vic Fangio and Moore will now serve as the Eagles coordinators.
Moore, 35, served as the offensive coordinator for the Chargers for the 2023 campaign. In January 2023, following five seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, he became a member of Brandon Staley’s staff.
The Chargers ranked No. 21 in points scored and No. 18 in total yards in 2023.
With Moore serving as offensive coordinator, the Cowboys offense finished first in yards and last in points in 2019.
During the 2021 season, Dallas ranked first in both categories.
