Anthony Joshua had an arm fracture
Anthony Joshua will not fight his next match because he fell down in the toilet and had an arm fracture
On March 8, Joshua will face Ngannou, the former heavyweight champion of the UFC, in Saudi Arabia. This will be the Cameroonian boxer’s only professional bout. In their fight from October of last year, Ngannou defeated Tyson Fury in the third round before falling short on a split decision.
Two days before Christmas, however, Joshua defeated Otto Wallin to secure his third victory of 2023. He is aware that winning will position him to face the victor of Fury’s uncontested matchup with Oleksandr Usyk on February 17. But Groves thinks Joshua’s illustrious career would abruptly end if he lost.

Ngannou is a rookie boxer; how is he going to overcome an Olympian who went on to win numerous world titles? “AJ is not at the end of his career; he’s not past his prime,” he said to Grosvenor Sport. Against Wallin, he appeared like a true force, unlike how he had looked at the beginning of the year. Thus, I’m hoping he places the blame on Ngannou rather than safety. I’m hoping he makes an impression by coming out hungry. I believe AJ can defeat Ngannou. He needs to win, in my opinion, and win big.
And we should give up on the heavyweight class since it would be a joke if he didn’t. In any other sport, it would never occur. Conor McGregor wouldn’t come close to ranking among the best ten boxers in the sport. He should be easily outboxed by Joshua. Joshua stands to lose everything; a defeat would mean the end for him. It would be disastrous if he were to lose this time around to Ngannou, a fighter in his second fight, as opposed to Oleksandr Usyk, who I believe is a fantastic fighter.
“His career and legacy will be called into doubt, particularly since he is not a shot, he is not a faded fighter, and it is unlikely that Ngannou would defeat Joshua in the latter stages of his career. Although AJ performed incredibly well against Wallin, it would be disastrous if Ngannou were to defeat him. It’s a high-stress battle. More shocking than Buster Douglas defeating Tyson would be that. Tyson was a ticking time bomb, and Douglas wasn’t exactly a formidable boxer. Although it was shocking, Ngannou defeating AJ would have been even more shocking.
