In 2024, Nick Sirianni will rejoin the Philadelphia Eagles as head coach, but how long will he stay?
CBS Philadelphia: The jokes between Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni and general manager Howie Roseman disappeared. The two had ceased laughing at each other’s comments and cracking crass jokes. Rather, they were having meaningful conversations with each other. Losing six consecutive games to end a season was the result of one of the worst collapses in the 91-year history of the Eagles, who became only the second team in NFL history to go 1-6 in their last seven games after a 10-1 start.
“You better believe I’m contemplating how I reprove myself,” Sirianni said in a speech on Wednesday at the NovaCare Complex. “As a young coach, Mr. Lurie, Howie, and this company trusted me to do the work.” I had to prove to them that I could guide the company in the direction they asked, and I had to keep doing that.
There will be more major changes among the coaches soon, but the head coach remains in position. despite the fact that his work condition has altered from the prior year.
Roseman batted for Sirianni, which was a correct move. Even with the late-season collapse, Sirianni has an outstanding record.
“I am not fading away.”
the last stretch of 1-6, but we were 26-5 over the previous 31 games, according to Roseman. “During this time, we played four times as many games as that. That’s a challenging accomplishment in the National Football League. In this league, head coaches with that sort of record are hard to come by.
“I think we were 33-11 at that time with Nick. We’ve had three straight years of qualifying for the playoffs. Again, I’m not saying that doing assignments 1–6 is acceptable while I’m sitting here, but it is difficult to find someone capable of doing such sorts of work.
