    Holgers Rune just declared that he would shortly be retiring

    After losing badly to Fabian Marozsan in his opening encounter at the Miami Open, Holger Rune has stated that he “should’ve pulled out.” Rune has now revealed why he wasn’t at his best, as the world No. 57 defeated the sixth seed 6-1 6-1.

    Rune was on the court for just 59 minutes at the Miami Open, so his time there was practically done before it started. As one of the top seeds, the 20-year-old was given a bye into the second round and faced off against Marozsan, who had made his tournament debut in the opening round.

    .Having defeated Carlos Alcaraz at the Italian Open the previous year, the 24-year-old was no stranger to an upset And after dropping just two games to destroy the world No. 7, he earned another enormous scalp. Marozsan hit four aces en way to a 6-1 6-1 triumph, while Rune won fewer than half of the points on his own serve.

    In response to his shocking loss, the Dane has now stated that he wasn’t feeling well before the competition. “Unfortunately, @MiamiOpen has come to an end. Although I was aware that I wasn’t feeling well today, I didn’t anticipate
