According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Garoppolo was suspended for two games for “violating the NFL’s Performance Enhancing Substances Policy” late on Friday morning. Sources claim that Schefter claims the offense is “connected to him utilizing a prescription drug without having a valid Therapeutic Use Exemption.”

Additionally, according to Schefter, Garoppolo is not anticipated to challenge the ban, which means he will miss the first two games of the 2024 regular season.
