The New York Giants have accepted Drew Lock’s offer to play. The larger consequence of this transfer still affects the Seattle Seahawks, even though it’s noteworthy since it appears to settle the Giants backup quarterback job and means Lock will need to hire movers to relocate his belongings across the nation.
The Seahawks are now one of the NFL clubs that desperately needs a quarterback. And even though they have Geno Smith, they don’t really need a starter who can come in and save the club, but they do have an issue that needs to be resolved right away.

Additionally, Schneider appears to be aware that his quarterback’s situation now does not guarantee it will remain the same tomorrow or in two years.
Schneider once said, “He’s the starter until he’s not,” passing along the deeper-depth chart query to his coaching staff.
