Not to be missed: Defensive lineman with the Las Vegas Raiders passed away recently at the age of 27 from cancer: “A fantastic teammate”
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Due to a quadriceps injury, Josh Jacobs, the running back for the Las Vegas Raiders, will not be playing against the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night.
He sustained an injury during Sunday’s 3-0 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, and the game was called questionable for him. 90 minutes before the Chargers game began, Jacobs was added to the inactives list.
He has caught 37 catches for 296 yards and 805 yards of rushes for six touchdowns. Last season, he had the most rushes in the NFL.
He hasn’t missed a game once this season till now.
Although they weren’t on the inactives list, wide receiver Davante Adams (illness) and defensive end Maxx Crosby (knee) were both listed as questionable.
Quarterback Brian Hoyer, defensive end Malik Reed, center Andre James, tackle Kolton Miller, and defensive tackles Byron Young and Nesta Jade Silvera are among the other Raiders inactives.
The following players are not available for the Chargers: tight end Donald Parham Jr., safety JT Woods, defensive back Deane Leonard, linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga, wide receiver Keenan Allen, and defensive lineman Otito Ogbonnia and Nick Williams.
