LAS VEGAS (AP) — Josh Jacobs, the running back for the Las Vegas Raiders, will not play against the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night due to a quadriceps injury.
His performance in Sunday’s 3-0 loss to the Minnesota Vikings was deemed questionable due to an injury he sustained. Jacobs was added to the inactives list ninety minutes prior to the start of the Chargers game.
He has 805 yards of rushing for six touchdowns and 37 catches for 296 yards. He had the most rushes in the NFL the previous season.
As of right now, he hasn’t missed a single game this season.
Both defensive end Maxx Crosby (knee) and wide receiver Davante Adams (illness) were labeled as questionable even though they weren’t on the inactives list.
Brian Hoyer, the quarterback, defensive end Malik Reed, tackle Kolton Miller, center Andre James, and defensive tackles Nesta and Byron Young Among the other Raiders inactives is Jade Silvera.
Tight end Donald Parham Jr., safety JT Woods, defensive back Deane Leonard, linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga, wide receiver Keenan Allen, and defensive linemen Otito Ogbonnia and Nick Williams are all out for the Chargers.
