According to a report, police are looking for Chiefs’ Rashee Rice following an alleged hit-and-run incident.
As part of an ongoing investigation into a possible hit-and-run incident on Saturday, Dallas police are looking for wide receiver Rashee Rice of the Kansas City Chiefs, according to the Dallas Morning News.
USA TODAY Sports received a synopsis of the incident from Kristin Lowman, a spokeswoman for the Dallas Police Department. The summary states that the multi-vehicle collision happened on North Central Expressway in north Dallas at approximately 6:25 p.m. local time. Authorities discovered that two drivers—one in a Lamborghini and the other in a Corvette—”were speeding in the far-left lane” prior to the drivers’ loss of control, which sent the Lamborghini off the shoulder and into the center median wall. This resulted in a “chain reaction collision” with four additional vehicles.
“The occupants of the Lamborghini and the Corvette all ran from the scene without stopping to determine if anyone needed medical help or providing their information,” according to the police report.
According to the police, two drivers received minor injuries treated on the spot, while two passengers from a second car were transported to a hospital for similar treatment.
Additionally, according to police, “both the investigation and the suspects’ identification are ongoing.”

A police call report obtained by the Morning News names 23-year-old Rice as the alleged driver of the Corvette.
Rice was not listed in the Dallas County jail system as of Sunday at noon ET.
Although Rice hails from North Richland Hills, a suburb west of Dallas, he was born in Philadelphia. Rice attended Richland High School and Southern Methodist University, both of which are roughly one mile from the scene of the collision, to play NCAA football.
In 2023, Rice made his debut with Kansas City as a rookie. He caught 79 catches for 938 yards and seven scores, solidifying his position as a key offensive component during the Chiefs’ journey to the Super Bowl. Only tight end Travis Kelce had more receptions and yards during the regular season than Rice did, and he led the club in receiving touchdowns.
