Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, called Sunday’s 48-32 playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers the most “painful” game in his long career.
We all had such high hopes and expectations for this team, so it seems like the most agonizing [playoff loss], Jones said reporters. “I thought we were in the right place and at the right time, but it didn’t work out.”
Although Jones’ team has three Super Bowl victories under their belt, their miserable postseason record is currently what has made them most well-known.
Jones led the Cowboys to win against Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XXX and the Lombardi Trophy, but after losing, the team is now just 5-13 in the postseason.
