The NFL cornerback is presently being sought by police for his possible participation in a domestic abuse case.
American football cornerback Cameron Sutton is wanted in relation to a reported domestic violence incident; an arrest warrant has been issued for him.
Authorities in Florida, USA, have requested that anyone who spots the 29-year-old, who is an NFL player for the Detroit Lions right now, get in touch with them.
According to sources from ESPN, Sutton is being charged with domestic violence by strangulation, a third-degree felony that carries a maximum five-year prison sentence.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Phil Martello recently informed the publication that since the arrest warrant was first issued on March 7, authorities had not been able to find Sutton. That morning, authorities were called to a Florida address where Sutton was accused of attacking a woman and then running away from the scene.
There was signs of wounds on the woman’s body, according to a second spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office.
