Despite getting older, Davante Adams is still among the NFL’s top receivers. Adams had 1,144 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in 2023 while using three different quarterbacks.
The 2024 season will mark Adams’ 32nd birthday, but he doesn’t appear to be slowing down. No matter who is starting at quarterback, he simply never stops putting up big numbers.
Pro Football Focus just published a list of the top 30 players that will be 30 years of age or older in 2024. It goes without saying that Adams, who ranked ninth, was on that list. Regarding the three-time All-Pro wide receiver, the website said the following:
It was not Adams’ fault that he had a poor year in 2023; the quarterback situation in Las Vegas had gotten worse. Adams achieved an 80.0 in 2023, following five years in a row in which he received PFF grades greater than 87.5. Sadly, things won’t get any better in his quarterback room in 2024.
He might not be able to put up significant numbers in 2024 due to the quarterback room, but it’s difficult to see things becoming much worse. Luke Getsy, whom Adams is familiar with from his time in Green Bay, will be leading the offense, which is fantastic news for him.
