The QB of the Raiders, Jimmy Garoppolo, confirms his exit from the team but says he is not retiring.
Derek Carr, the quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders, announced his departure from the organization on Thursday in a lengthy social media message. He began by writing, “It crushes my heart, but he also stated that he would not be retiring.
I once said that if I’m not a Raider, I would rather be at home and I meant that, but I never envisioned it ending this way,” Carr added in the statement.
I still have that fierce desire to win a championship burning inside of me. A fire that only God can put out, not man.
I am therefore looking forward to a new city and a new team that will always receive my all. I’ve always wanted to win a championship, so I’ll keep working for it.”
