Ryan Day the head coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes, has just announced
One former Ohio State star has had enough after losing to Michigan on Saturday for the third time in a row.
After Ohio State lost its third straight game to its fierce rivals, Michigan 30–24, legendary Ohio State coach Maurice Clarett urged that Day be dismissed.
In a post on X, Clarett thanked Day, but the coach earns too much money to continually lose the biggest games.
That’s why millions are paid to you. “I can’t get paid nine minutes and lose three straight,” declared Clarett.
In a statement, the school stated that Commissioner Petitti’s abrupt decision today suggests that the goal is not so much to apply the rules impartially and fairly as it is to bow to pressure from other Conference members. “By acting at this hour, the Commissioner is placing himself on the sidelines and altering the fair playing field that he claims to be protecting. Moreover, attempting to stop the organization from requesting immediate legal relief on Veteran’s Day, a court holiday, is hardly impartial.
Together with Coach Harbaugh, we plan to request a court injunction to ensure process fairness and stop this disciplinary penalty from being implemented.
