Senior linebacker Steele Chambers made the decision to sacrifice his last season of eligibility and join the draft on Tuesday afternoon, as he posted on Instagram. During his five seasons in Columbus, he made improvements to his tackles each year. His impact plays remained unchanged from the previous season, as he intercepted a pass but did not record a sack.
Tommy Eichenberg and Chambers are the two main contributors to the linebacker room who are quitting the programme. The Buckeyes don’t have a barren pantry because they anticipate Cody Simon’s return.
