The Week 18 season finale between the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles will take place at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night at 4:25 p.m. ET, the NFL said.
In Week 17, the Giants (5-11) came dangerously close to defeating the Los Angeles Rams with a stunning comeback. Conversely, with only 32 seconds left, Kyler Murray led the Eagles (11-5) down the field for the game-winning touchdown, but they ultimately fell short against the Arizona Cardinals.
When the clubs last faced off at Lincoln Financial Field on Christmas Day, the Eagles defeated the Giants 33-25.
Right now, the Eagles are the NFC’s fifth seed. But Philadelphia would win the NFC East if they won and the Dallas Cowboys lost to the Washington Commanders. Because they own the tiebreaker against the Detroit Lions, this would result in the Eagles finishing second in the conference.
