Tiger Woods explains why golf has a “bad connotation” for his daughter Sam.
Charlie, the 15-year-old son of Tiger Woods, aspires to follow in his father’s footsteps in the business world. However, this isn’t the case with the daughter of the renowned golfer.
Sam, Woods’ daughter, has no interest in the game and, in fact, views it negatively, according to Woods during an interview on “Today.”

“I believe she has a bad association with the game since, as a child, golf deprived her of her father,” Woods stated on Wednesday.
“I had to leave, I had to pack, and I would be gone for weeks; it has a bad connotation.”
Sam caddied for her father and brother at the PNC Championship in December, but Woods disclosed that he doesn’t generally play golf with his daughter.
We established a rapport and relationship that extends beyond golf, since we engage in activities beyond the game. My kid and I handle all things golf-related in the interim. It’s simply very dissimilar.”
