Tight end with the Indianapolis Colts. Domestic abuse allegations are made against Drew Ogletree.
INDIA PARK According to court documents, Indianapolis Colts tight end Drew Ogletree was taken into custody on Friday on suspicion of domestic abuse.
According to Indiana state court records, the 25-year-old Ogletree was charged with domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury and domestic battery conducted in the physical presence of a kid under the age of sixteen. They are both felonies.
Records state that the alleged crime happened on Tuesday in Hendricks County, which is located just west of Indianapolis.
The Colts indicated in a statement that they were aware of the arrest.
The statement stated, “We are aware of the troubling claims surrounding Drew Ogletree.” The group is serious about these issues. The NFL has been informed, and we are now obtaining additional details. We will not be providing any more comments at this time.
A no-contact order was also granted by the court.
In the 2022 draft, Ogletree was selected by the Colts in the sixth round out of Youngstown State. This season, he has caught nine passes for 147 yards and two scores for the 8-7 Colts, who are vying for a postseason spot. On Sunday, the team plays the Las Vegas Raiders at home.
