BREAKING NEWS:Dennis Allen Head Coach of New Orleans Saints Declear His Resignation Due To…..

Breaking News: New Orleans Saints Head Coach Dennis Allen announced his resignation due to…

The 2024 class was one of the best free agency safety classes in recent memory, but the influx of high-impact players overshadowed talented starters like Quandre Diggs. Diggs performed poorly in 2023 and made an untimely entry into the free agent pool. The Texas product finished the season with a pitiful 55.1 PFF grade, one interception, 95 tackles, and one tackle-for-loss. He started every game during the season.

Quandre Diggs, who will turn thirty in a few months, might not find a home as a free agent after such a poor campaign. But it’s crucial to understand that his 2023 performance is not a true reflection of the player he was in the past. Diggs participated in three straight Pro Bowls from 2020 to 2022, and his film suggests that he was a deserving contender in each.

While Quandre Diggs is a free agent, it doesn’t appear that any teams are interested in signing him. He might be a solid low-risk, medium-reward addition for the appropriate team. According to Dan Pizzuta of The 33rd Team, the New Orleans Saints should be that team.

For a variety of reasons, Quandre Diggs would have been a free agent and a good fit with the Saints. At this point in his career, Tyrann Mathieu is far more effective at the line of scrimmage, thus the team needs a deep safety.

With Marcus Maye out of the picture, New Orleans will need to find a new starting safety if they want to win the NFC South.

Justin Simmons is the greatest safe player available as a free agency, but the Saints only have enough cap money to sign Quandre Diggs.

After postponing a reconstruction for years, the team is unable to finance a significant free agent. Diggs may be done, but if a different plan works better for him, he might be at his best.

Considering that he won’t cost much, New Orleans should sign him and see what more he can offer.

Of course, Pizzuta’s article is pure speculation, and there are plenty of clubs who may benefit from a safety.

Quandre Diggs is a terrific option for a one-year, prove-it contract with a low cost, even though he might not be a man who can win your games on his own.
