BREAKING NEWS:Dennis Allen Head Coach of New Orleans Saints Declear His Resignation Due To…..

Though the 2024 class was among the strongest safety free agency classes in recent memory, quality starters like Quandre Diggs were overlooked by the flood of high-impact players. Diggs entered the free agent market prematurely and had a terrible performance in 2023. The Texas product had a dismal 55.1 PFF grade, one interception, 95 tackles, and one tackle-for-loss at the end of the season. During the season, he began each and every game.

After such a dismal campaign, Quandre Diggs, who turns thirty in a few months, might not find a home as a free agent. It’s imperative to realize, though, that his 2023 performance does not accurately represent the player he was in the past. Between 2020 and 2022, Diggs played in three consecutive Pro Bowls, and his video suggests he was a worthy competitor in each.

Despite becoming a free agent, Quandre Diggs doesn’t seem to be of interest to any organizations. For the right squad, he may be a good low-risk, medium-reward addition. The New Orleans Saints ought to be that team, claims Dan Pizzuta of The 33rd Team.

Quandre Diggs would have been a free agency and an excellent match for the Saints for a number of reasons. Tyrann Mathieu is significantly more productive at the line of scrimmage at this stage in his career, thus the team needs a deep safety.

If New Orleans hopes to win the NFC South, they will need to find a new starting safety now that Marcus Maye is out of the picture.

The Saints only have enough financial space to sign Quandre Diggs, even though Justin Simmons is the best safe player available in the free agency class.

The franchise can’t afford to sign a big free agent after years of delaying a rebuild. Diggs might be finished, but he might be at his best if a fresh strategy suits him better.

Taking into account his low cost, New Orleans ought to sign him and explore his potential.

Of fact, Pizzuta’s thesis is all conjecture, and a safety could be advantageous to many clubs.

While Quandre Diggs might not be a man who can win your games on his own, he is a great value for a low-cost, one-year prove-it contract.
