Lakers Injury Report: Two Important Players Out for LA Against Chicago
Gabe Vincent and Cam Reddish are both out with injuries, so the Los Angeles Lakers will be missing two of their best players when they play the Chicago Bulls.
Reddish is suffering from a right ankle sprain. In his debut season with the Lakers, the small forward is averaging 6.7 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 2023–2024.
Reddish is now suffering from an ankle injury, having just returned from a three-game absence due to a hamstring injury. Reddish’s next opportunities to play are against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday or the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, though it’s unknown how long he will be away.
After having arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, Vincent is still out and will be sidelined for at least six to eight weeks. Due to a knee injury, the former Miami Heat guard has only been able to participate in five games this season and hasn’t played since October. Vincent has been averaging 5.4 points, one rebound, and three assists for the Lakers this season while he has been available.
LeBron James and Anthony Davis, who are both listed as questionable ahead of tonight’s game, could also be absent for the Lakers against the Bulls. The Lakers will need the other players to step up if they want to avoid losing to the Bulls, because they appear to be pretty banged up and shorthanded.
