Bundle of Joy: Alabama Assistant Coach Welcomes A New Baby Boy Into His Family.
An Alabama assistant coach is happy to have a new family member watching him lead the Crimson Tide.
The staff of the University of Alabama hired 38-year-old Colin Hitschler, a co-defensive coordinator and safety coach at the University of Wisconsin in 2023, to do the same duties.
In the defensive backfield, he is eager to work with the four- and five-star players at his disposal, but his greatest joy is becoming a father for the third time. On Sunday, Hitschler and his spouse, Becca, welcomed a healthy boy into the world.
The two older sisters of Christopher William Hitschler, Catherine and Isabel, are prepared to mentor and guard him.
In the fall, Coach Hitschler is eager to support Coach DeBoer in leading Alabama to a national championship.
He is taking pleasure in his son’s formative years.
