The celebrations include ceremonies, themed-events and feature releases
The New York Giants have made public their intentions in honor of their 100th NFL season.
In their inaugural season, the Giants, under coach Bob Falwell, concluded with an 8-4 record in 1925. The team is celebrating its centennial this season with a number of events to mark one hundred years of existence.
The Giants will also provide exclusive items with a 100th anniversary theme at MetLife Stadium and their team store. Their ‘100 Seasons’ logo was also revealed.
As stated in a news release, “The entire Mara family is proud to commemorate the 100th season of New York Giants football.” John Mara is the president and CEO of the Giants.
I think about my family as we commemorate this historic season, especially my father, grandfather, and uncle, who have devoted their entire lives to the Giants and the NFL. Without their vision and leadership, we would not be who we are today.’
The New York Giants revealed their celebration plans for the 100th anniversary of the team.
To celebrate their first century together, the team unveiled their unique 100 Seasons logo.
Ceremonies, special events, and feature releases are all part of the Giants’ celebrations.
On June 20, the group is hosting “Giants 100: A Night with Legends.” The greatest play in Giants history will be revealed during the event; fans can vote on it on the team website. Attendees of the celebration are anticipated to include franchise icons Eli Manning, Harry Carson, Tiki Barber, George Martin, Jason Sehorn, Bill Parcells, and Tom Coughlin.
Throughout the summer, they will also release the Giants’ top 100 players, as determined by an impartial panel, on digital and social media platforms.
In terms of media, the Giants will debut a ten-episode podcast series titled “The Impact of Players in the Top 100 List on the Franchise,” which will be presented by announcer John Papa. In September, they will also issue a book titled “New York Football Giants: The People, The Moments, and the Traditions,” and this fall, “The Duke,” a documentary about Wellington Mara’s life.
On the 100th anniversary of the team’s founding, the Giants will pay tribute to their previous residences by visiting the Polo Grounds. To commemorate the 18 years the Giants played in Yankee Stadium, a 100th-season theme day will be held there on August 4.

Along with visiting Yankee Stadium and the Polo Grounds, the team will host A Night With Legends.
Finally, ten awards of $100,000 each to reputable charitable partners will receive a $1 million commitment pledge from the Giants Foundation. At a Giants home game, each partner and donation will be highlighted.
According to Steve Tisch, executive vice president and chairman of the Giants, “I saw the Giants play in person in the early 1960s when my father would take me to games at Yankee Stadium.”
