For nearly 20 years, Alabama has been the top college football team. Even so, head coach Nick Saban, who oversaw everything, retired following the 2023 campaign, allowing Kalen DeBoer to take over as head coach of the team. While DeBoer and Saban are not tight, I have nothing against DeBoer. Naturally, with Nick Saban leaving as head coach, Alabama will lose players and recruiters.

Alabama Football Is The Number One Thing In The State

The biggest event in the entire state of Alabama is Crimson Tide football. Everything else is readily defeated by it, even Aubrun football. Even still, Alabaman athletes occasionally decide not to play for the Tigers or the Crimson Tide. On Tuesday, the state’s top wide receiver turned down the opportunity to play college football in Alabama.

Dillon Alfred Commits To Ole Miss

According to Hayes Fawcett from On3.com, “Class of 2025 WR Dillon Alfred has Committed to Ole Miss”.

Alfred is from Saraland, Alabama, and is ranked as the number one wide receiver in the state in the 2025 class, according to On3.com.

Ole Miss Is Becoming A PowerHouse

Lane Kiffin, the head coach of Ole Miss, has had a fantastic offseason. He began it all this summer when he went bonkers on the transfer site, grabbing big players. He is now killing it when it comes to hiring.

Ole Miss might be a real threat in the SEC, and their chances of winning have increased with the addition of Texas and Oklahoma to the conference. Ole Miss is doing a fantastic job of securing their continued competitiveness for many years to come.
