The Spaniard missed the 2024 Australian Open as a result of an injury he received at the Brisbane International in the quarterfinals against Jordan Thompson.
The tennis icon was recently spotted preparing for the 2024 Indian Wells Masters with his kid and wife Maria.
Maria and Nadal’s son observed the Spaniard’s training session while they stood in the tunnel.
The Spaniard, who took home the titles in 2007–2009–2013, is making a comeback to the Indian Wells Masters in 2024. In the first round, he will face Milos Raonic.
Rafael Nadal last appeared in a Netflix Slam exhibition match, when he faced Carlos Alcaraz. The match moved to a tiebreaker as Alcaraz won the second set 6-4 after the King of Clay had won the first set 6-3. The youthful protégé won the tiebreak 14–12, defeating his idol.
After being sidelined due to injury, the 22-time Grand Slam champion thanked Alcaraz and expressed his happiness to be competing once more.
