PITTSBURGH — The Steelers are a banged-up team, but aside from Diontae Johnson and Cam Heyward, it seems the team escaped a disaster with other players on the Steelers injury report. DeMarvin Leal and Pat Freiermuth were boh fine and expect to play on Monday. Both were limited participants on Thursday while dealing with their triceps and chest injuries.
Meanwhile, Johnson was at practice on Thursday off the side. He did not practice, and Mike Tomlin noted that they will wait as long as they can until they decide on their injured reserve statuses. But those players are nonfactors this week. In other injury news, the Steelers got some good news for the most part.
James Daniels was only limited after suffering an ankle injury. Meanwhile, Miles Boykin was in a walking boot after the game on Monday and fully participated in Thursday’s practice, so much so that he is not on the report. Larry Ogunjobi remained limited on the defensive line with a foot injury that has nagged him for an entire month.
